I am reviewing this salon so that other girls are not robbed the way I was. I wish I would have been warned before I went. Firstly I was charged 100.00 more than I was quoted and I was asked to pay mid way through my hair being braided so that Mavis could pay for her lunch. Secondly I was put aside numerous times in the day so that Mavis could get more customers in while I sat around and waited. Thirdly, the job was a quick one. The corn rows on the top of my head are not clean and were fuzzy from the moment I walked out, the braids were not braided to a quarter of the way down, the glue shows through the hair, the braids are so tight at the hair line that they are creating a rash but so loose after the knot at the hairline that they are unravelling. Furthermore, the braids in the middle of my head are three times the size of the corn rows on the top of my head and the braids at my neck line. I went back as I was unsatisfied and had to listen to racial slurs and was insulted and called names In my opinion Salon Aird is not concerned at all with customer satisfaction.
