The store feels a little old and run down. Its displays are ugly, and its prices are too high. Those are the bad things about Mooneys Bay Computer. The good seem to be its service and support, as well as how friendly and informed the staff are.
It does sometimes feel like you are talking to guys from those cheesy Italian Mafia families, but otherwise they really know their stuff.
They are very helpful in talking through computer illiterate people the steps required to fix their computers, and don't lie about things.
Again, their parts, and service are a little more expensive than most people will like, but if you are looking for a local computer store, that will help you get what you actually need and don't want to deal with big box places, this would be one to put on you list, but only if you don't mind spending a few extra dollars for it.
I do not recommend this place.
