I found the staff at fosters friendly,and totally not stressful. When help was requested they were happy to answer all my questions and then some! I'm going to go back in spring for a couple more bikes for the family, and probably a chariot if I can have my way! thanks guy's darren I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? The sales staff where helpful and kind I got a fork that woks great, and is light. I also got a set of Kevlar tires that haven't had a flat yet. I got some other things there and have not had a problem , and I will go back as soon as I need something. There is no stolen parts there. not like some other places I know. I recommend this place. When Dave's bike dump let me down I went to fosters and they had exactly what I needed. It was 3pm saturday and it took ~5 minutes for a technician to talk to me and then he did exactly what I wanted and picked out the parts... they replaced both tires and a tube in reasonable time and they were friendly... I found them to be poorly educated about certain equipment they sell, and the individual I dealt with was apathetic and rude. However, they seem to have a somewhat broad selection if you know exactly what you want, so I would still recommend visiting them. For everyone else (especially those with questions), go to a more activity-specialized shop.

Flecton hit the nail on the head. The sales staff there is extremely un-helpful. You better know exactly what you want when you walk in because they will offer very little, if any assistance. They will just follow you around and wait for you to tell them what you want.

walked into the store and past 3 employees ... went into the bike section and looked at bikes and price tags for 6 minutes before i realized this store had no interest in helping me. So i left and instead gave my 600+ dollars to Westboro Sports!

Fosters is a very friendly and technically savvy bike shop. I have purchased merchandise several times, and more importantly, had service done there. EXCELLENT people who repair, service, exchange, whatever it takes to get it right. I would highly recommend visiting. Not a 'pretty' retail store in a mall.
