However, the service is on the fritz. A group of us came in yesterday for the sens/islanders game & began sitting at the round tables. Then this server comes out & says the tables are reserved, meanwhile the place is dead empty! She gave a really bad attitude towards this, so we put our jackets on & left! So we ended up spending $368 at another bar!!!
Ouch for them! Too bad Tasso wasn't there to see that one!
Also, at the Bank St location they let pregnant waitresses serve food & beer..yuck what a major turn off!!Who wants a big belly serving beer, no wayy! The best location is at Bells Corners where Trev is or at St. Laurent. It's too bad they do this to me cause our group drops thousands of dollars to them each year!

I do not recommend this place.

The price is good for breakfast special. For less than 10$, you got coffee, 2 eggs, and sausages or bacon or ham. So I find it fairly decent deal.
I cook my own meals everydays + bring lunch to work, so sitting down for breakfast at Local Heroes is such a treat.

I noticed that it is family friendly too, i normally see couples with kids being served well.

If its busy, they won't refill you coffee till you ask them. So don't be shy, ask for more...hot coffee, cause I know we all need one!

I recommend this place.

The only worthwhile thing at local heros is to drink a beer while watching the game.
To watch sports on tv I prefer Boston Pizza (any of them) which have better food and a cleaner environment.

I do not recommend this place.
