This place does have its fans, but poor and pretentious service -- exceptionally poor (exceptionally frequently poor, according to reviews elsewhere professional ones included) -- and lackluster-to-bad food mean this is more 'image' and 'experience' than a real restaurant. Genji, on Lisgar Street between Elgin and Metcalfe, would be a better choice for anybody interested in eating while they have dinner. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? An impressive place to sit back and enjoy some Asian cuisine. This restaurant sits in the middle of Byward Market which is nice for people watching while you eat.
