I have been a long time customer of Bobbies (over 15 years) and have loved the quality & generous portions. That has all changed in the past little while (they have a new cook). My past 3 orders have been less than what I expected. Tonight's order was the proverbial 'straw that broke the camel's back'. I ordered the chicken burger combo with poutine instead of fries and 2 beef donairs. The order arrived & there was no poutine, just fries & gravy & the driver only had one of the donairs. I alerted the driver of the problem & was sending the order back. A few minutes later, the driver comes back & says he has 'found' the other donair. Now the only problem was the poutine. The food was getting colder by the minute. The driver says that I was not charged for the poutine & that if I pay for what he has, he will be right back with the poutine for us. I agreed, paid & tipped the driver. About 25 minutes later the driver shows up with a poutine to make up for the missed one. He also has 2 cans of pop for the trouble --BUT-- he wants to charge me $10.50 for the poutine. --------I was under the impression that the poutine was no charge for he screw-up with the order. I flat out told him that I was not going to pay for their screw-up & that he can take it all back if he thinks I am going to pay an additional $10.50. He says that he can't do it & I say that this will be our last order from Bobbies. Needless to say, they have lost my families business. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful?
