The new elevators are constantly breaking, the thermostats are broken through the whole building meaning full blast heat in winter and full blast ac in summer. The property is swamped with mud and water with no doormats at the entrance to building, and we've been threatened by the property owner with footing the bill to clean our whole hallway(we're directly across from elevator and get everyones mud). We've been submitting forms for repairs ranging from broken locks, to cabinet doors and drawers falling off for a over a year, and they only came up when we gave notice that were moving. I do not recommend this building. our rent has been increased 3 times during our tenancy, with no service, assistance or repairs. The only redeeming feature of this building is its location. I have lived here for over ten years, and I never had a problem with Roaches, I love the building and the location is great minutes to Bayshore Shopping Center, the College Square, The Colliseum and Ikea. It is a very quite building and the apt. are very spacious. The A/C is a great feature to have in the summer time, I love it here and would recommend it to anyone. I recommend this place. They also manage Bell Street apartments.(need I say more?)Started seeing cockroaches last summer and it is only getting worse. After living here for 10 years, I am moving out shortly to a cleaner place where the building is not being run by slumlords I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful?
