I have been living at Bronson Place over 3 years, and I am very satisfied with the administration staffs. They are friendly and honest. Beside occasional vandalism of other lesser responsible tenants of the jacuzzi, I am happy with the facilities (small gym, sauna, pool, laundry room) and the safety + convienience of this building.

I did have an ants infestation of my apartment unit in summer 2005 since my unit was right beside the garbage chut, but the building manager quickly cleaned the entire apartment and got rid of the issue.

The garbage chut was damaged by irresponsbile tenants who dump over-sized junk into the chut instead of carrying it down to the large-size garbage area on the first floor. I see this as the tenants being bad instead of the building's management flaws. Bronson Place has since cleaned and install a new garbage chut.

I recommend this place.

Avoid Bronson Place. Stubborn and dishonest administration. Garbage chutes smell badly on hot summer days. Numerous break-ins reported. Huge Pharaoh ant, and numerous other pest infestations. On the plus side, it is one of the more affordable places to rent in downtown Ottawa, but you get what you pay for.

Is not very accurate. I've been here for over a year and I haven't seen a single bug or anything. Sometimes there are bugs on the balcony, but nothing to be worried about.. i'm sure there are bugs on every balcony. The staff are very HONEST. I have never had any problems. I haven't had to get anything fixed in my place at all... ever.. and now i'm upgrading to a 2-bedroom apartment because I love this place and the price is amazing considering this apartment is right across the street from high priced condos and basically right downtown. Access to all major bus routes is minutes away.

Anyway, just replying to this comment because it is not very accurate.

I recommend this place.
