We were very impressed with the unique service provided by Tap Sweep and their performance. They listened to our concerns and designed a sweep which targeted the most relevant eavesdropping and surveillance devices that may be used against our business. They did not try to oversell (quite the opposite) the sweep service, and explained that since this was our 1st sweep, there is little point in looking for highly sophisticated and expensive taps and bugs if the effective $50-$100 devices haven't been looked for or detected. With so many wireless products already in our possession (room-monitors, wireless intercoms, phones, mics etc.) it just takes 1 unethical individual to inflict severe damage by eavesdropping.
Because of the increasing concerns of Industrial Espionage, we decided to further extend our security coverage beyond firewalls, alarms and locks. Though we don't have a perceived security threat, Tap Sweep helped us to further understand the importance of protecting against the most effective and damaging threat facing businesses today: Eavesdropping. They also provided documentation to verify our practicing of 'due diligence', as well as recommendations against both common threats and those particular to our offices.
Unless you are comfortable inviting your competitors to listen in to your strategic planing, or protect against employees gaining confidential information ,then we highly recommend this service.
