I went there for a checkup and a cleaning and Dr. Howard was very nice, soothing voice and his staff was very polite as well. However when I came back to get a cavity fixed it was the WORST experience I had ever had at the dentist and I have had many cavities fixed in my twenty years. He yanked and pulled and sprayed the water gun whenever he wanted, didn't talk to me the entire time, didn't explain what he was doing. I had never had one of those mouth cover 'dams' and he just put it on without warning and clamped it on my tooth, I said it hurt and he said the pain would soon go away, which it never did. It lasted 1 1/2 hours and I was in excruciating pain the entire time. I went home and cried. I guess they want to scare you into never having to go to the dentist because thats what it did to me. I DO NOT recommend this dentist.

Have to love a site where you can plug that great rarity, a dentist you actually enjoy seeing... Nary a problem with him, his staff, or my teeth, going on a few decades now. Patience and charitable comments afforded when, like me, you sometimes wait a while between appointments. His office is clean, up-to-date, and pleasant, but free of hustling for the latest tooth whitening what-not -- much more than can be said for a lot of dentists downtown. I recommend this place.
