1 out of 2 people found this review helpful. i have been buying my glasses here for almost 20 years (give or take) from the moment i walked into the store, i felt welcomed
i have bought 10 pairs or more of prescription glasses as well as plain sunglasses. i would NEVER go anywhere else. the owner lianne is very professional and knows precisely what she is doing. i have recommended her to many of my work colleagues as well as to family and friends, that of which have gone to see her and were extremely satisfied. for those of you with negative comments, you must learn to trust those with the knowledge and expertise of their business. lianne is the best in her field and recommended her highly

I recommend this place.

awful store Overall: June 8, 2010

The man was horribly rude from the get go. The woman hovered over us like a vulture and made us feel so uncomfortable . We ( my friend and I ) were coming in from work so were dressed fine and were quiet and respectful but those hacks were on the defense right away. We were there before and delt with the man and was quite pleased so we returned with the intent of each buying a pair but because of their attitudes and horrible sales techniques , we were turned off and left. We called to talk to the man to complain and he literally screamed , non stop, quoting their sales methods. I do not recommend this place at all

Dissatisfied Overall: April 2, 2009
10 out of 12 people found this review helpful. They have nice frames here, but the optician is so rude I will never set foot in that store ever again. I am a young professional and actually drove 20 minutes to their store yesterday to pick out glasses - and as soon as I opened the door the optician and her staff member eyeballed me from head to toe and I felt like a mouse in a cage with two cats. I asked if I could try on their frames, and first the optician said they don't write down price quotes or frame numbers (I didn't even ask about this), and then the optician demanded to see my prescription - which I reluctantly produced (it is my only copy). She then told me that since she was an optician, only she could pick out the right frames for me, and that glasses were more about frames, they were also about lenses, and blah, blah, blah. All of this was stated like I was a 2 year old at daycare for the first time. They actually held on to my prescription - tucked it away - and I felt like I was now forced to buy glasses from them. It was very surreal - I had to describe in detail what I wanted, they brought out stuff from the back for me to try on - I didn't like any of it and so had to ask if I could pick out frames from the wall. I did find some very nice pairs, but they hovered to the point that I didn't feel comfortable making a decision, so told them I had to think about it. The man was quite nice, but the woman turned into what can only be described as Ursula from The Little Mermaid. I suspect what is happening is that they are losing customers to the internet - that is why they don't allow digital cameras in the store - and are trying to sell the whole "specialized optician" experience. I do feel bad for the man who works there, for he is quite nice, but I will never shop in that store again. Intimidation is their tactic, and rudeness is their policy.
I do not recommend this place.
