I had to wait for over an hour before he saw me, In total, for a simple hair cut, I was there for over three hours with all of the delays. 	1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. I am ashamed to be a part of the owner's culture. He is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, CHEAP, and GREEDY. He will only treat you well if you have money to spend, and if you agree with every word is says. His staff HATES him, they actually complain about him to the clients...and the owner spends his time gossiping about his clients to other clients!!!! I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN HIS SALON AND WILL NEVER, EVER GO BACK. This man should be put out of business already. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? The owner cancelled my apt. 3 weeks before my wedding (he did this to about 4 other brides I know). When I asked for a refund of my deposit, he refused to give it to me, saying that it is NON REFUNDABLE....this is extremely unacceptable. I will NEVER recommend this place to any brides, and the experience I had was absolutely HORRIBLE. If you are going in to just have your hair cut or coloured, maybe....but be VERY CAUTIOUS if you are a bride booking with this man. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Myself and my wife Nelly are EXTREMELY satisfied and happy for the good service, ambiance, the look and for feeling rejuvenated after using the Spa services. Reading some of the negative comments on this webmail page is shocking, Nelly and i have always used Spa services and we do consider Elee Salon & Spa the most prestigious in Canada's Capital. 	5 out of 6 people found this review helpful. I heard about this promotion to an exculsive salon on bank st and was attracted to experiencing this salon and spa. I found out about these packages strolling through the mall and was attracted to purchasing 3 and gave away to my friends.I walked in imediatly and was warmly welcomed by the receptionest and the staff. Upon arriving aveda tea we served. I did visits A and c and the experience was very profesional. The sylist and I discussed what was best to suite my look. I had a soothing scalp message and a very chic cut done by a really cute guy.He was very friendly and made me feel confortable and relaxed.The cut was awsome there was nobody who didn't love my hair. I then did visit B and what a relaxing manicure and message. My nails never looked so proper and the esthetician picked out a polish that suited me well. I have yet to use up the other visits and will continue to give rave reviews hoping to recieve the treatment next time.I'm defenetly hooked, and they consider me a special client and will inform me about events and other promotions that will come in the futur.Thanks to ELEE Salon&Spa. 	5 out of 6 people found this review helpful. I heard about Elee Salon and Spa though a Friend who always has a perfect hair cut and hair do. So I decided to call and make an appointment. I was very happy with how beautiful and clean the salon was and the staff was very nice and treated me very well. Elee the stylist was very kind and consulted me on what hair cut would suit me. After my hair cut I looked gorgeous walking out of the salon and I was even given a 20% off discount on my next visit. I was so impressed, I am now a permant client at Elee's Salon and Spa. For my visit A, I did not get the 'In depth Heai Style Analysis', or the 'Stress Relieving Scalp Massage', or the 'Colour and Highlight Consultation', or the 'Customized Hair Car Product Prescription', or the complimentary beverage. All I got was the Custom Cut, Shampoo and Style. I had to ask about the 5 minute Tanning Session, because the owner (very rude) was sending me off as if my visit was done. On the second visit, I was told I had to pay an extra $5 for nail files... which I refused to pay as this was supposed to be an all included package. They would not give me any of the other services that were included in the visit if I didn't get my nails filed! The owner said there were no substitutions... I did not ask him to replace that service, but just to skip it, which would not have changed anything. He would not hear me out, saying he wasn't the one making the rules and that his salon wasn't making any money off of these appointments. The service, especially from the owner, was VERY poor. Not surprising the employees were complaining about him while cutting my hair or explaining to me how the manicure was going to cost me an extra $5! DON'T GO THERE!!! Worst service ever! 	8 out of 11 people found this review helpful. Yes, I too bought the spa card package. I must say that I'm very satisfied with my haircut - thank God that was the good part of my visit! Everything else was lacking... The salon was empty, the person at the desk was on a call with suppliers and waved me in where I was made to wait for a good 20 minutes (unacceptable when you consider that NO OTHER CLIENTS were in the salon). A woman came by and, as an afterthought, offered me tea & then went on to argue with the reception desk man in a foreign language. Yes, unflattering comments were made about my appearance... I didn't feel welcomed or a sense of 'spa calm'. When I got my mini manicure done, I was informed that a hidden $5 fee was involved - odd, after having purchased an 'all-inclusive' card. I'm sure I saved money having bought the card, but I won't be giving them my business afterwards. Too bad, because the hairstylist was pretty good. I do not recommend this place. Both myself and a friend purchased promo for 4 visits, each visit was to include specific services, but many of the services were not booked by Elee, and were not offered when we showed up for our visits. During one of my visits one of the staff members argued with a client for approx 15 min. the client looked shocked at the treatment but maintained her composure. During all visits, something negative about my appearance was pointed out. On two visits my friend was told her bangs weren't cut properly **THE SECOND TIME SHE WAS TOLD THIS WAS TWO WEEKS AFTER HER HAIR WAS CUT BY AN ELEE HAIR STYLIST! During a spa treatment, the esthetician was banging bottles, had water from the tap running; it was not a calm and inviting atmosphere...it felt like she was rushing through it. My last session was cancelled by Elee, when I advised I didn't want highlights in my; although I was told 2 weeks prior when I booked it that I would not be having them done and they advised not problem the other services in that vist would be performed. They wouldn't perform the other services when I showed up. **I found it odd that during all of my visits there would only be approx 2-3 other clients there. I've never been to a spa or salon where it wasn't packed on a Saturday, yet this place isn't; and that says alot!I would not recommend Elee to anyone and I would never return. POOR SERVICE!
