I have mixed feelings about this salon. If you want a fabulous haircut, Elee is nothing short of genious. I have never left there feeling less than thrilled with my hair. Most of the time, I feel that it is worth it, just for the great hair. However, the experience itself is not very pleasant. Elee has a strange system of working on several people at once, instead of focusing on you. It is not unusual to be in there 4 or more hours just for colour and a cut. He flits back and forth, often finishing up with another client who came in much later than you, before he gets back to you. Strange service. The pricing is even more strange. It varies widelly from visit to visit for the same service. There is no 'price list'. You are at his mercy. BUT, he is absolutely gifted....is it worth it? So far, I say yes. If I could find someone else who could cut my hair like Elee, I would probably switch, though.

Extremely unprofessional staff especially Elee himself.Pricing is very inconsistent, he charges what he feels like charging on the day of the appointement and depending who the client is. If you are not a regular client, he will make you cough up double. I can't understand why this very critical, judgemental and rude little man is still in business. He will make you wait an hour for your appointement regardless if he's busy or not. The last time I was there, it was Saturday and the salon was empty, yet he still made me wait one hour while he chatted away on the telephone for an hour. He needs my business, I don't need him! By the way, all of you who purchase clothes from him which he claims are from France. They are really from Montreal and some even from Winners!! This guy is such a phoney, there is nothing genuine about him. Keep your integrity and respect and stop going to him. I guarantee you as soon as you leave the salon after an appointment, he is bad mouthing you. He is so greedy, his employees have to beg for their paycheques!!! They all talk about him behind his back. It's too bad because he is talented but his unprofessionalism overshadows his talent. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful?
